Mobile Application Resilience Forum (MARF) 2026

Unified Defence : The Framework Reshaping Mobile Security in Malaysia

As mobile apps handle more citizen data and financial transactions across Malaysia, strong cybersecurity has become an essential business priority. To address these risks, Zchwantech Cybersecurity and Total SE Solutions partnered with national authorities to host the Mobile Application Resilience Forum 2026 (MARF 2026), bringing together regulators, enterprise leaders, and developers.
The forum centered on 3 core priorities:
  • Compliance with the Cyber Security Act 2024: With this law now enforced, securing mobile touchpoints is a mandatory compliance requirement rather than an optional best practice. Agencies like NACSA stressed that public-private cooperation is vital to defend against modern threats.
  • Adopting the Mobile Application Certification (MAC) Scheme: CyberSecurity Malaysia’s MAC Scheme offers independent security evaluations against national benchmarks. Certification proves apps resist tampering and leaks, gives consumers confidence in data privacy, and provides developers with clear security baselines.
  • Embracing "Security-by-Design": Rather than treating security as a last-minute check before launch, organizations must integrate protection—such as continuous threat modeling, runtime self-protection (RASP), and regular penetration testing—throughout the entire app development lifecycle.
“Cyber resilience cannot be built in silos. MARF 2026 brought government, industry, technology providers and
application owners together to turn mobile application security into a shared business and digital-trust priority.”
       — Wayne Wang, CEO of Zchwantech Cybersecurity

Wang further emphasized the broader mission:
“At Zchwantech Cybersecurity and Total SE Solutions, we want to help organisations move beyond reactive
security towards security-by-design, stronger application resilience and greater confidence in Malaysia's digital
      ecosystem.”
